As befits a converted 1824 Shaker mill, the rooms are simply furnished in a comfortable but simple style. Pegboards hang from the plaster walls. The sunroom has a glass wall that looks out on the mill's picturesque brook and waterfall and the lounge has a unique circular fireplace. The benches and rocking chairs encourage groupings of half a dozen or so, in clusters. A table is always laid out with fruits, cookies, coffee and herbal or fruit teas, to draw wanderers and nourish the guests and innkeeper.
